Hey, is there any possible way to convert .subs files onto a DVD using TMPG DVD Author? No, I am not asking how to insert it on IFOedit because it doesn't create menus... and I would like to create menus.... therefore... is there any possbile way I could insert subtitles to my DVD project? Greatly apperciated if you replied. Thanks. Lates...
when your encoding your file to mpeg2(dvdcompliant) frameserve the file with the added subs using virtualdubmod to your encoder, then the resulting encoded file will have subs on it so u can load into TMPGEnc dvdauthor. Have a look at the first page in this guide it details how to frameserve the subs. http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/divx_with_subtitles_to_vcd.cfm
Nice one Care. But I'm wondering if this fellow wants switchable subtitles(which you can't do on TMPGenc DVD Author) on his dvd with menu's, instead of permanent subs? If so DVD Architect will do it. I'm working on a AVI to DVD guide on how to do this for dumbasses like myself at the moment. I think DVD Maestro does it too, but I'll have to check up on that. _X_X_X_X_X_[small]AKA: TRHR.
