i have window player 6.4 and download alpha 3.11 and dowloaded a movie a mov.file a get a error messege saying no combonation fiters.i am i doing this right or using wrong downloads

.mov extension stands for Apple's QuickTime video format and they're very paranoid about their format overall. You should download latest QuickTime player for Windows from http://www.apple.com/ (yes, they do have Windows version as well) and use it for .mov playback.
