I have an HTPC connected to my HDTV via an ATI component adapter. Is there any way to playback DVD movies in 1080i? I know that macrovision will disable any DVD playback above 480p, but is there a way to bypass this in the DVD playback software itself (currently using WinDVD 6 Platinum) rather than making a backup of the each DVD and removing the macrovision that way?
