Hi. I have a 550MB 1920x1080 mpeg2 file(converted from .tp) and when I use Nero to burn it to DVD, the resolution shrinks to 240MB 720x480.

Can DVDs only store videos with a maximum resolution of 720x480? If not, what can I use or do to keep the original resolution on a DVD?

    Thank you!

Yup, 720x480 (NTSC) and 720x576 (PAL) is the res limit of SD DVDs.
