hey i just got a few 2.6's and i'm all set to do some installs - if you look at the wires, LPC #3 (the red one) is twice the length of the others...is there a reason for this? just seems kinda weird to me, because it goes to the same place as the other 9 - so i was wondering if maybe on certain versions of the box this wire needs extra length
Not sure which guide you have, but this one from team x http://xbox.x-pec.com/x23bl-v16/images/v16_rebuild_x23B.jpg I've done a few and haven't found a need for much extra wire. Only the ones going to the switch to power off the chip.
I was doing 2 1.0's, so the 1.6 stuff doesn't really apply to me. i installed them both and everything's fine, i just trimmed down the #3 wire for them. I wasn't really worried, just a little curious as to their intentions for the double length
