Most common toaster reasons last week: power calibration error 10x session fixation error 5x Something to do with the burner? Had a clean install of winxp yesterday but still threw away 5 dvd's today. Why is the change bookmark unsuccessfull? Thanx.
Logs look OK, cant say you are using good quality media, try Verbatim or Sony (made in Japan). Try updating your Nero from here http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/?1881
Thank you for the reply! I have burned 100+ philips dvd's already without much problems. Going to order some new dvd´s, will take your advice and go with verbatim or sony. Will let you know if this sorts it, if not i'll post another log

the eidt button, is at the top right of the post next to (Link to this Message) r u using 16x verbs? if so those are made to be burnt at higher speed, try 8x, BTW, for burning DL disks i would recommend IMGburn which IMO is much better than nero at handling the layer break. although right now IMGburn website is down, so u have to wait awhile to DL it.
Thank you for the info! And yes started using them verbs just this week. The philips dvd's worked pretty good up untill half way through my spindle, did have an occasional coaster now and then but this was just like 7 or 8 in a row before succesfull burn. Should have checked this forum earlier, i ordered philips dvd+r dl about 1,5 week ago and i can't get nero or dvd decrypter to burn anything on them. Well first 2 out of 5...and those dl's don't come cheap I must say that i get more coasters when i burned at 4x still using philips dvd+r dvd's. And for pointing out where the edit button is located. Stupid me, i only looked everywhere on the page looking for the edit text, not realising it's a button w00t! Also thank you for the heads up about IMGBurn, i will definately look into that. It will be almost a week before i get the dual layers so that should give me enough time to figure things out! Guess i could practice some with the 3 remaining philips dl's Will check back here in case of problems
I see you decided to upgrade to 7.8.5.0.....I am currently using 7.5.9.0 (the one in the link provided) with NO problems to date...I am not too keen to upgrade to the newer versions, quite a few logs submitted containing errors.
Yes, i still had the installer sitting on my hd so went with that one. I'll give that one or two more chances and see if there still are problems, i thought newer is better Gonna try imgburn first, didn't even know this was from the person who made dvddycypter.
