hi guys, this is the best site i've ever come across! incredibly helpful and full of data.

i recently came across someone selling dvd movies with 240, 300, and 600 minutes. i think those were 2-in-1 deals. just wondering, is this possible? i assume that each dvd disc can hold around 3 hours' (or 180 mins') worth of video, so how is it possible to have more than 180 unless they're in multiple discs? plus i read that a 600-min movie has only 2 discs??

hope someone can help clarify a confused newbie!

more power to this group. it rocks!

hiya jim. thanks for the warning.

i cant get over this site. its so cool.

the discs are sold from a well-known site selling dvd's, so i was just wondering what the hell the catch could be.

could it be that they are also in double sided format?

i've tried to ask them via email but havent received a reply for 2 days already.

uh, jim, you're right. its not a major motion picture studio. it's a, uh, independent company catering to the uh, more sensual films. dammit, it's porn.

that just made me sound like a complete horndog. but what im really curious about is how they make that into 600 mins. or like you said could be mpeg1's.

You horndog lol ...just kidding,I went to a porn movie once, but it was really boring, so I left after 4 hours, and besides that, the screen was irritating my nose LOL

Yes it has to be mpeg 1.I make mpeg1 dvd's to use in travel dvd players and smaller tv sets.I can get over 6 hours on one disc.

the way they put 600 mins on a single dvd is they compress the hell out of it this can cause pixilation and even some dvd players will error out with them... and some times at an inopportune moment if you know what I am saying. I would suggest sticking with well know companies (vivid, seemore, red light and the like) with porn if you are paying you want quality and the net is free of bad quantity

are you burning back ups to your dvds? that can be very important with porn... you dont want any DNA on the disc that will ruin it

yeah im burning back ups. and ive been getting really good tips from you guys (the more knowledgeable ones) re software and media type.

ya know when you get dna on the discs (whew almost misspelled there), at least youre leaving behind some sort of marker, so to speak. LOL!

you can have them identified by the clinic if they get lost.

wait, so companies advertise mpeg1 as dvd's? wow, talk about misleading!
