I know it'd probably become a massive legal mess.... But, I think it would be cool if ad was able to have a thread where we can trade/buy 2nd hand pc parts. I know there is ebay to do this, but I really don't like ebay that much at all.

The only way it MIGHT work would be a forum where you can list what you have or what you are looking for. Then the actual deal would need to take place through a PM to obtain an e-mail address. That would leave AD out of the picture.

Hmmm. dunno about it not being popular. If you consider that when you sell something on e-bay they charge you 1 percent of every sale you make. (Last time I checked, it was either 1 percent or 4 percent)
Also, there are heaps of people out there who wanna buy stuff cheap and hate e-bay & having to bid. If it was done on here once the ammount was set people wouldn't have to worry about being "Out bid".

yea ebay do take a cut but they also offer security that you would not find on a forum.

Without a proper system in place similar to ebays the opportunites for somebody to sell something, take the money and deliver nothing would be everywhere and there wouldn't be a thing you could do about it if it happened to you unfortuantely.
