I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but here it goes. I am trying to hook up 3 dvd drives at same time. I got ide to sata converter but I have trouble with it. I think it is because it only supports sATA l (150mbps) and my motherboard is SATA ll (300 mbps). I say this because when I try to use the drive with the converter on it I have got a lot of freezing when I try to read and when I tried to write it doesn't even recognize some volume or locked something but it prevents me from writing, better then coasters I guess.

Any one do this with a SATA ll MOBO

I am hearing usb 2.0 external solution was working for some but I want it internal. Anybody that can help PLEASE. I have been looking all over the internet for something that might work.

    Thanks

Does you mobo have an option in the BIOS to run in SATA 150 mode?

I just checked the bios and didn't see anything like that.
