Has anyone tried the Xbox 360 wireless controller on the PS3? Is there an adapter out there that lets you do this? I assume it would have to be a USB receiver, like the one for Windows.

Does the button mapping work okay? I realize it would be without Sixaxis support, but the PS3 controller is a little too small.

And would I need the plug n' charge kit? I don't own a 360, so I'm new to this.

The 360 controller is Inferred and the PS3 controller is Bluetooth! Maybe if you bought that USB adapter for useing the 360 controller with a Computer but dont get you hopes up!

the 360 controller is not infrared, the 360 controller is 2.4GHz with a 30' Range, just like a cordless phone.

    nope, 2.4GHz

atleast thats what all the spec sheets i can find say, cuz i know originally people were worried about interference from say, cordless telephones and other such devices that operate on that freq.
