Hey guys i got a question
i already have a laptop with a wireless adaptor, so i can browse the internet from my laptop.
my question is, can i link my xbox 360 to my laptop (using an ethernet cable or summat like that) to be able to go online and play on xbox live?

if that is possible then that would be great,
it would save me £60 in having to by a wireless adaptor for the xbox.

    thanks

I don't think you can run it from the wireless computer to your 360. I connect mine to the router itself with the cable and it works great.

ye thats the problem that i have,
my router is far from my xbox360. so there is no chance of wired connection.

    so is that guaranteed then?
can i not link a wireless computer and the 360 together and go livevia the computer?
    no?

this has been answered sooooooo many times.
yes, you can hook your 360 to your pc with a ethernet cable, that pc is connected to your internet wireless.
people do it all the time, just look for your answer and hoe to do it.
there is directions and pics on how to do that on xboxlive website and if you google it there will be directions all over,
or search these pages on afterdawn.
