after clicking on the .rar .00 file I have an .img file with 4.6 gigs but the extraction will not go through because the error message states that the file is too large for an NTFS drive. What can I do do extract this file and burn the img in Nero??

no one of the limitations of fat 32 is it CANNOT handle a file larger than 4 gig ......so you need ntfs to get around it:)
