    Hi,

I've been using DVD2One. I set the file size to 4.36GB, so it should fit fine on a 4.7GB DVD-R. But the end of the movie is always jerky, and stops playing before the end.
Surely I dont need to make the file size even smaller?
Wot size do most people use?

I have been using Nero to burn it.

    Cheers.

If it burned then the size is correct. No need to fiddle with that.

If everything works out fine then look to the media first.
    What media are you using?

    Cheapies?

Im using DataWrite Classic 4X. They seem to work fine when I burn Data DVDs.

Video is a much harder test on the DVD's quality than Data. Try using some Ritek G04's or something. http://www.dvd-and-media.com have some great Clone Disc Ritek. You should be able to get 4,430MB on a disc. Set it to 4000MB to try it out.

U were right, its the discs. They are basically dodgy at the edges, so I managed to write a movie that was 3.9Gb, and that played fine.
I'll try the better quality discs.
    Cheers.
