4k Monitor Display Problem

    Just wondering if anyone else has had an issue of getting 4K monitor to run 3840 x 2160 @ 60hz.

    Spec Acer CB280HK 60hz 4 k monitor
    FX7950 GPU
    FX8350 CPU
    Hooked up presently to dvi as DISPLPORT3L Startech DisplayPort Cable supplied only fits one end and not in to GPU . I have ordered the following cable MDP2DPMM2M - Adaptor 2m Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort Adaptor Cable - M/M to resolve the issue. My question is has anyone else had this issue and what did you do to sort the issue out. Also will the cable I have ordered work.

    No sign of me cable yet waiting on Amazon so keep posting your suggestions they will help and is really appreciated.

    talk to sammorris as i think he has a dell 4k monitor & i think he had resolution problem with it.
