I have recently started a mission to figure out how to create a vcd that plays in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround. I am using soft encode 5.1 and have tried several things but with no sucess. If anybody can give me any suggestions as to how this is done please write. Thanks.

Sorry, standard VCD only allows to have stereo-MP2 audio and nothing else. If you see those movies that have "dual-audio" it's done by having one audio for left channel and one audio track for right channel.

So even if you succeed by breaking all the VCD rules, your resulting video wont be VCD-compatible.
