I am trying to backup my DVD Software disc that came with my In-car Navigation System. It looks like it is on a DVD-R but the disc size is 6615 MB. I didn't think this was possible on DVD-R's as Dual Layer DVD-R writing isn't available yet.
    Am I missing something?
How can I copy this DVD?

    Regards.

Faulty TOC used as a method to try to make it difficult to copy (there may be other methods within the code also).

Try making an ISO copy, ignoring TOC faults, raw reading etc.

No single layer disks of that size (to my knowledge).

    Have Fun...

    You could try the following:

    WinISO
    UltraISO
    IsoBuster
    Nero (Image mode)
    Alcohol 120
    RecordNow Max (Image mode)
    etc.
    etc.

    Have Fun...
