Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me? I had my phone stolen and have been given a replacement handset from a friend; fortunately virgin send you a new sim, free of charge if yours is lost or stolen. The hand set I was given is a nokia 6230i Service provider lock: Orange uk imei: 356644008938412 v03.30 21-04-05 rm-72 gsm p1.1 Many thanks in advance Daniel
I entered the code and got the message "can not undo restriction". I guess I will have to take it into a shop and get it unlocked by cable. Thanks for your help
As the phone should theoretically still work with the original provider; would putting the original sim back in the hand set and performing a factory reset undo the lock out restriction? Then allow me to try the access codes again?
