    All,

After you copy a movie using DVD shrink ,
If I watched that movie using a Philips DVD that upconvert the
signal to 1080i using a HDMI cable?

    image will be better ?

    thanks

My movies look better using the upconvert Philips DVD player. How
much better depends on the percentage it was shrunk. Some movies
that copied at 100% look just slightly better. Other ones with
much larger shrink percentage look quite a bit better.
I usually do movie only to preserve as much of the quality as
    possible.

Your PC converts to whatever resolution your screen is at anyway. Most DVD playing software de-interlaces the DVD too. Some (VLC and FFDShow for example) allow you to choose the de-interlace mode. There really is no need to up convert. Just use a decent player or decoder.
