a good grafic card

    i was wanting to know if anyone know a link to a good grafics card i can buy that doesnt cost over 100$ looking for one that could run games with grafics like doom 3 maybe

    2. what make & model # of motherboard to see what board you have before giving advice

    I would try to look for a Graphic card - that way people may know what you are talking about.

    You're going to be hard pressed to find a $100 vid card that's going to be very good at Doom3. In all likelihood you'll need to run the game at a disappointingly low resolution to get playable frame rates.

    That being said I think your best bet for that price range would be some form of Radeon 9600SE or GeForce FX5700LE. If you could muster up another $40-$50 you'll be looking at the 9600XT or 5700Ultra which will give you much better performance.
