This is about the My computer screen. The one that shows user files, hard drive and cd/dvd drive.

It used to be divided up by
Files Stored on this Computer, Hard Disk, and
    Devices with removable storage.

Now there is no organization to it at all. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Your question is a little vague. I gues you mean you have opened "My Computer".

If that is the case, in the top right of the tool bars there is an icon which looks like a square folder with little coloured folders in it. Click on it and it will change the views.

I think I know what you mean.

Right click my computer then left click properties / hardware / device manager.

In device manager (if I understand you correctly) click on view and select 'devices by type' your probably set to 'devices by connection'

   )

No - don't go to the device manager

Tell you what lets start again.

Please describe the problem, - which screen are you in ? what are you trying to see?

[bold]My Computer "Window" has the following:

    Files stored on this computer.
    Hard Disk Drives
    Devices with Removable Storage[/bold]

    He asked for:
    He got:
Select the following under "My Computer"

    In View drop down: "Tiles"

Sub menu: Arrange Icons by> select "Type" and "Show in Groups."

We all were correct in what we felt he was asking for. Just depends on interpretation.
