My DVD doesn't play PAL or SVCD files. Is it possible to get a mod chip to allow it to play these file types?
Not that I know of no standalone dvd players cant be modchipped to enable features ie svcd playback/PAL playback Check your owners manual, see if it tells you what formats the player does support.. you could always try region freeing the player.. I region freed my POS GoLIVE dvd player which wouldnt play any other then vcds and storebought dvds , now it'll play 90% of the svcds /burnt cd-r/rws I throw at it
