I'm really new to this kinda stuff but anyways my brother got a psp slim and gave it to a friend so he could put emulators on it. He said he had to put a battery in it to downgrade it to run the emulators. My brother's psp says that it is a 3.80 M33. (So doesn't that mean he didn't downgrade it)? So my question is, with dark alex's time machine, would I be able to downgrade it without messing with batteries and what not and instead just put the file on the memory card and install it like that, or would there be more to it?

I think the Time Machine only works on PSP Slim and it will not downgrade it instead it would just install the 1.50 kernel...

You could go to psp-hacks.com for more info...
