hi guys i know this may sound dumb!! i need help in trying to burn a region 1 disc first off i needed to change my dvd settings from r2 to r1 to encode the disc and back it up to my HD. but when i did burn it to disc and tried to play it in my dvd player it would not play as it was not pal format. so what i need to know is can i copy a r1 disc and brun it as a r2 disc?? cheers for the help guys mark
Hi Nu330ci It would be better to rip and set it region free then can be played on any machine Is the disc in Pal or NTSC. Being Region 1 I suspect it is NTSC and will need to be converted to Pal. As I have limited knowledge and experience someone else in the forum will need to advise. I hope this helps
thanks buddy it is a ntsc disc! so i encode it as r1 and then covert it to r2 and burn to disc from there??
