Now I noticed some people like me had this problem and so they call for xbox customer support. If your like me and your willing to do anything to fix your xbox 360 then follow my steps on how to fix the 3 red lights

It worked for me so it should for you. 1800 4myxbox told me my xbox is useless but i guess they lied because look at me now still playing.

1.So this is what your xbox looks like eh?

2.If so then your in luck(there may be hope for you)
what u want to do is the towel trick really easy in my opinion this video should help alot
    http://video.google.com/videoplay?d...l=2&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=0

3.Once u have done that your xbox should work but the towel trick is only temporary it only works for about 1-7 days so the next thing you should do is open up your xbox.

5.Because that is happening the xbox can't overheat because all the hot air isn't trapt in the case.

6.Make sure u keep the dust from getting inside the console

well this has worked for me as u can see i hope this helps u

(THE REASON I GOT THIS ERROR WAS BECAUSE OF THE COOLER!! Stay away from THem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

he didnt have to open the case for the towel trick to work. he jsut opened it once the towel trick 'stopped' working. by opening the case it just allows the air to escape the heatsink instead of being held inside of the case causing it to remelt the solder and overheat again and again.

he didn't have to open it for the towel trick to work. He said the towel trick ws a temporary fix ( 7 days), so after that stoped working you would need to leave your box open to keep it cool.

the link i posted WILL void your warranty, and DOES require modding, so no one is responsable for what happens if you try it =)

actually the towel fix did work for me but not anymore. I tried leaving the case open and it worked for like 5 minutes and froze up. My warranty is over and my case was already opened up before because I flashed the f/w. So what should I do now ?
