If that was his real name, I dont think he'd be as popular if he had used that rather than Ali G. Look at eminem, his real name is marshal mathers, do you think hed be as popular as he is now if he used that instead? I dont, heck hed probably be pegged as trailer park trash. A lot of popular people, and Im going to add Ali G in this, add some sort of twist or use different names altogether because their real names probably wouldnt draw in as much attention as they want. Ok so you could say the same thing about the name "Vanilla Ice", but it fit the image of a white guy rapping.
to me, all those names are stupid. it's like people just cant be themselves and trust in their music. i dont think i would trust my talent as an artist if i had to change my name to make it sell. but this is a whole different ballgame than my point in starting this thread. people can call themselves whatever they want. a guy named poopstick could talk to me and i wouldn't have any problem unless he was saying "n e 1 see wot i did wif dat ho?"

Ok back on topic: My brother is into this msn chatting thing, and I swear, the way he types his messages is pretty disgusting. Here is a simple question: Hey have you seen the new Matrix movie? Pretty nice and clear. This is how my brother interprets this same question on the keyboard: Matrix moobie, dat ting is aw-hella-som,see yet dat, biatch? What the hell?! In that whole sentence he's only spelled 4 words correctly; even worse, h'es managed to switch the words around so it barely makes sense... What gets on my nerves is my brother is literate, he can write a complete sentence or two, even complex ones, and then he goes and types that. Id like to point out that he and his friends like to call eachother biatches or some other cuss words. I asked him once why he types like this, and he tells me that its cool....
