yah..i did a new round of 3dmarking and register for orb.. 05 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=1583648 03 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=4486472 01 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=8831950 but theres a big mistake..i have in my com an nvidia 6800gt!! but the 3dmark says i am having an ultra..can anyone help mi out here?
Is your 6800GT overclocked ? that might explain 3DMARK seeing it as an ultra, or it might just be a glitch with 3DMARK
dont stress it dude its only a score no big deal.....as long as it plays games and other things fine who cares......its only a stupid score which means nothing...peace
ya..but theres one game that i am having prob with..nfs most wanted..set it to 1024/768 and all high..its not lagging but while my lambo hit fast speed or suddenly turn to a corner..it lag abit and even if i lower all mysettings..its still the same..
3dmark has nothing to do with fixing the performance of your pc...what kind of ram[memory] are you using?
He ment what brand and what are the latency and timings of the memory even if ya using tham at stock!
Look on the box that came with the memory or look the brand up on newegg. Or go into the bios to see what the bios has automatically set for the timings. Unless ya have a factory puter then the bios aint gonna list cas or latency. Im not sue but I think sis sandra soft will list them!
er guys..i hate to say this but my cpu is a dell..so ya..plz dun say i am dumb..i heard that so many times..we have to try b4 we noe rite?
Well theres first problem. A dell...eww! If ya running ddr2 in that thing its probally substandard as everything else. So I would think its a lost cause to try and squeeze any performance out of it. If anyone else would care to comment, but I think the best thing to do is rip the motherboard out of it and replace it with a good overclocking motherboard like epox or asus. I got my epox for less than 90 off of newegg. Its in my sig. If ya get a better motherboard that supports the cpu and ddr 2 memory you would be extremely happy. Unless ya use onboard video then ya gonna have to get a vid card as well. Bfg makes a nice pci x card for bout 350.00 thats overclocked right out of the box! Have fun...but ya cant tweak or overclock with a factory mobo. Time to start ripping and modifyuing!:>
Well then ya on the right road. Go buy a mobo and that will help extremely.:> This should get ya on the right road to stardom http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813131578 Supports ddr2 and the bus speed of ya current chip. Ya got to check the psu and make sure the substandard dell has a 24 pin connector for the mobo. If not adapters are available. Plus this board they have a combo special for a burner. Correct me if im wrong, but i think ya cpu is 775 socket.
There is no way to oc a dell or any factory comp. Ya need a oc motherboard and I just posted a link for a good mobo, but ya were writing when I was..lol. Here it is again. :>:> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813131578
