acronis anti ransomeware protection free

please move as needed. I installed the ACRONIS app because I am hoping it will prevent all FAKE microsoft warnings that appear at random, blocking browsers and sites from opening. in most cases the computer is locked preventing me from getting to the desktop. Some can be closed, others need a restart despite the voice warnings. will this app do what I need it to do? this issue is not described in any apps description of abilities. I am left in the dark. I picked this app based on its name and description. seemed to be what I need. opinions, recommendations please? thanks.
