I love my Zune! Everything is so great. There is just ine thing. I HATE SYNCING!!! :)

This is why I didn't get an iPOD among other reasons. So is there anyway to sent stuff to my Zune without syncing?

Zune explorer hack... a few regedit steps and you can see it like a portable hard drive... google it or goto zuneboards.com for more information... also there are self executable files too... if your lazy

    Thread hijack -

I did the regedit as described here only problem is that now I see 2 Zune icons in my explorer as shown here [IMG]

One is normal but the other is a generic icon. Is this normal?

Ok, deleting files is fine with this hack but can I add file to my Zune via windows explorer? It doesn't seem to let me add files. I have 2 computers lappy w/ vista (32bit) and Win XP.

well you can create a backup folder when u trick it by clicking sync and in fact you can add files while its "syncing" and make folders etc. but if you dont want to it sync your whole library (like me) just make sure and to remove sync automatically then u should be able to drag and drop files on the right and then click start sync.

im trying to follow the procedure mentioned above..however im stock in this step

    4) Search for “PortableDeviceNameSpace”. This should be contained in the Vid_####&Pid_####\########_-_########_-_########_-_########\Device Parameters within the above …\USB\ The ##’s listed here will be numbers and letters specific to your Zune

One im in the usb fodler...do i have to right click and click on find then search for PortableDeviceNameSpace without quotes? ANd Devicename should be zune? or the name i have give my zune?

You asked if devicename s/b zune or the name you give to your zune. My answer is zune NOT the name you gave to your zune.
