adding new subtitles to a dvd?

    I have a .img file of a DVD, but it is not in english and I would like to add english subtitles to it. I downloaded english subtitles but I am not sure how I would be able to add them in as a part of the DVD when I burn it.

    Is it possible to do this, and if so could anyone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks a lot, any help is much appreciated.
