adding subtitle to DVD

    hi,
    I need to know if there is a way to add subtitle for a VOB file.
    i have an AVI movie and i convert it to VOB so i can burn it to DVD, so i need a way to add arabic subtitle so my little sister can watch it.

    i got the perfect idea. get some note cards and write the words on it and then when they start talking switch the cards to go with the words. if their is an easier way please tell me because adding subtitles to an already subtitless movie is impossible unless your a professional with stuff and sorts.

    those work too, i guess......i was under the assumption that the movie didn't have arabic subtitles. we need specifcs sofo1980.

    thanx flip218, i will try that one.
    dvdripdvd,i know it need to be a professional with stuff and sort as u said but i like to try it. i have translate many books and catalogs into arabic and maybe DVDs is the next thing that i have to translate in the future, who knows.

    thanks for informing the stupid one. me's feel stupids towards your interlect. their has gotta be some program that can allow manual insertion of subtitles in movies. if not i'll just make one.
