HI! Running 6.0 on win2000NT with DV firewire card. Taking in the video at 720x576 DV PAL format and editing as standard on the timeline. Then using Adobe suggested LSX Mpeg encoder and trying to burn Mpeg to CD using Nero 5. Nero bitched about incorrect format and finally I got an Mpeg format it was happy to burn with ... then the damned VCD doesn't play at all!

I'm sure it's me and not the software - anyone suggest a better/ more direct way to get a DV format timeline onto a VCD so I can watch it on my DVD player or PS2?

Well I spoke to Sony and it turns out that I may well have made an XVCD by mistake, but it really doesn't matter as the PS2 doesn't support VCD's at all ... just in case anyone else was having the same problem ...
