alien vs. predator

I made a backup of AVP using DVD shrink. When I view the VTS_03_1.vob file "0.99GB", the starting point is not the same with the original DVD. Also, the scenes jumps from one scene to another scene then back or replays the same scene. I open the folder where I made the backup using DVD shrink and it plays normally just like the original. Is that normal? I have yet to make a copy of it because I am unsure if ok.

 

Go ahead and make your backup. It should be fine.

I copied it with Shrink with no problems at all.

 

If you are concerned that you will burn a coaster, try using a -RW or +RW type DVD. You can burn over and over without worry about making a coaster.
