Any frequencies in the 387.000 range have gone 394.000 has been replaced by 395.000. There is a new frequency 402.000 for a few other channels. I have updated the list but there is still works ongoing and I may have to update it again.

Where do you get these figures from?
On my pace box it shows you the frequencies and I have never seen any at XXX.250

Probably work fine for most all the same.

They are edited to suit both the pace frequencies and the Starview channel dumps, i.e Starview will only pick up freqencies with a 250Hz/500Hz differential on these particular tps. So in regards to where do I get them from I dont just use a base frequency rate off a pace box as that would not suit the Starview. All other boxes will work on these frequencies either way. But when asked for frequencies for say the Eurovox I will give the base tp figure of XXX.000 as per their tp range.

Cheers, interesting stuff. I made a new file for my dbox2, it scans, 100, 100.5, 101, 101.5 all the way to 999.5. I wanted it to be foolproof. Problem I have is that it picks the first frequency it finds, so might pick 401.5, even though 402 would be a better choice.

You would be a better man than me in regards to the Dbox. Can you not just edit your service file to reflect the exact frequencies and then upload it to the Dbox. Just a question?

That is exactly what I did. They come in gaps of "8", so I made a few extras guessing they might go 394, 402, 410, 418, and downwards from 394 too. I named this NTL fast, if it doesnt work then my other one big scan should work with 100, 100.5.... but could take 4 hours.

It is all fine for me but I have gotten dboxes for around 10 mates, and then about 10 friends of friends got them too, so I have to look after a lot of them since only one guy I know is able to update his own box via PC. So I have to "future proof" these boxes so I do not have to go around updating them in future.

I didnt want people using the large scan and having jittery pictures due to being out by 0.5, this has happened in the past on some service files I got.

LOL thats the problem with getting friends boxes, I stay away from that and only offer advise which is bad enough :)

These are the exact transponder frequencies I have for N** true cable in Dublin, as I assume thats where you are based.

Tell me about it! it is not just not using a PC, I have had lads say it is "broken" who didnt even have ntl, had no scart in, messed up some advanced settings, had no coax in, and one had it stuck on radio!

I checked mine when the 402 394 change came in and my pace box still had about half of them at xxx.500 Mhz. To check I put on a channel and press the info or menu button, the one on the lower right of the remote.

    I have a simple equation I use: friends + boxes = play dumb :)

The tps I have posted are from a Eurovox and are quite accurate. The tps from the help menu on a pace are good to a point, but I have a funny feeling they will be moving again and so I will be like a box myself continuously updating this thread :)

The emulator on the Dbox is actually better than N**s own pace box so the frequency differential is catered for by this. The Starview's emulator is just not that well thought out and as such is less accurate , if they had any idea about nagra emulation,(or at least put more thought into it), and incorporated it into the Starview then it would save the confusion over frequency charts.

    Hi all,

I am new on this forum but it has been a huge help already so thats in advance.
I was searching for the codes for n*l in dublin when I cam across this thread. I am only picking up about 15 stations and i presume if I can manually put in the frequencies above I should be able to pick everything up.
Can anyone direct me as to how to do this - ie manually enter the above frequencies.

    Thanks a million
    Nails....
