alladin advance

i have an alladin advance fitted and running with the evoxm7.ef bios i'm having some dirty disc error and want to change to an x2 bios which i know are better because my kids have it in there xbox (with an xecutor 2 chip) and my backed up copy works fine in that can i change or do i have to use the evoxm7 one
which one can i use
and is there a certain way to update it

u have 2 have evox then make a folder called Bios in c:/ & put your bios.bin file in there then restart the xbox then u go 2 the system utiltys in evox then flash bios and it will flash with that bios
