am lost with copying

    ok are there movies that just can't be copied. Have 4 and 6 yr olds who like watching dvd (disney,etc.)purchased originals but would like to make copies so that kids don't ruin original. Have tried to copy snow white using xcopy and then encrypter and shrink but having no luck. What next

    am getting message failed to read file f, data error (cyclic redoneancy check)

    Usually a CRC error is a dirty/scratched/smudged disc. I would try cleaning them up and trying again. Decryptor and Shrink is a pretty solid combo, done 100+ movies with no problems. If cleaning dosen't help sometimes switching to brute force mode in Decryptor will work.

    I wonder how many CRC errors are caused by kids getting there paws on the original before you burn it. You have to get 'em while they are still fresh.
