I noticed that DVDs that say ANAMORPHIC W/S 2:35 (they play in Wide Screen with Letterbox bars) But DVDS that say ANAMORPHIC
W/S 1:85 play in FULL SCREEN (No Letterbox) on my LCD HD TV

Is this right ? Is there something wrong with TV ? I tried Two different DVD players. Both were set up to 16: 9 W/S for LCD TV. NO ZOOM. (NORMAL) setting. HDMI connection

    thanks

That's normal....your DVD player upconverts and adjust the aspect ratio to full/16:9 on your anamorphic titles. Standard DVD players (non-upconvert DVD players) don't do this.:)

I would assume the bars are there, 16:9 = 1.78 not 1.85. Your set's overscanning them away.
