After I get a XBOX flashed and a dashboard installed, can I load a XBOX game DVD to the hard drive by putting the DVD in the XBOX CD/DVD reader or do I need to rip the files to my PC hard drive and FTP them to the XBOX harddrive? I have a PS2 and with HDLoader you can copy a game straight from the DVD to the PS2 hard drive. I have not used XBOX dashboards and I am trying to figure out if a dashboard is the same as HDloader. Thanks for any input.

The following is a quote from another post:

"once you get everything up and running, you can use dvd2xbox, hdd loader, or complex tools to rip the game to your xbox hd..."

If I can transfer the XBOX game directly to the XBOX hard drive via a dashboard why do I need dvd2xbox, hdd loader, or complex tools? I still don't have the full picture Thanks
