Any Difference?

    I have a Philips stand alone DVD burner. For the first time I recorded a VHS tape on to a Philips +RW (2.4x) disk, with no problem. When I try to record the same VHS onto a Philips +R (2.4x), the burner just stops. Is there any difference in formatting on the disk that would allow one to work and the other not? My calling Philips tech dept has not helped. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    i dont know sorry but you can actually burn VHS tapes onto a DVD???
