My DVD player can play both PAL and DVD . I have a DVD disc which I need to know if it is PAL or DVD . I tried DVDInfoPro v3.48 and got no answer on this point !! Do you know any program that can identify this disk ?

Eureka! I just found the solution . Here it is : Use a freeware called <AVIcodec v1.1.0.4> . It will tell you the frame rate of a .vob file in your <VIDEO_TS> folder as 25 frames/sec or 30 frames/sec . If it is 25 frames/sec then the DVD is PAL while 30 frames/sec indicates NTSC . Do you know a more direct way ? Please comment.

You can use DVD Decrypter which is also free. Just put your DVD in, start Decrypter, then go to Mode> IFO> then Steam Processing tab. You'll see the format in that box.
