I have a few games now downloaded onto my ps3 (from the PSN store). My three young kids often play around with the system and wanted to see if there was a way to password protect DL'd games on the ps3 etc? It seems all to easy to be able to click a couple buttons and be able to delete them. Any advice or tips?

If its anything like the 360 i doubt it,kinda strange the dam 360 has parental controls but any user can be admin on it except for enabling blood n gore which require password, can the games be copied to an external by using ps3 copy function ?,perhaps do a web search see if it's possible to clone the drive or ftp into the ps3 from the comp & backup the games that way, short of modifying the ps3 the only other thing i can suggest until ps3 owners turn up is get another ps3 specifically for the kiddies, lets face it without any sort of backup for it's hdd you'll loose it all if it fails (the hdd that is)
