I bought this and burned some CD-Rs of MP3s,
    DID NOT Work.

However I put the PGEN Emualtor on my USB FLash Drive and burned some Megadrive ROMS onto a CD-R
and it read them on the PS2.

For MP3s and Video Files, I just copy them onto my 256MB USB Flash Drive and the Media player recognises them. Shame it does not seem to recognise files on CD-R.

Maybe I should use good quality CD-Rs, see if that solves the problem.

    Cyburn,

what media are you using and did you use max media creator?
I just burned a whole bunch of video files, mp3s, sega roms on tdk cdr and it works perfect in my ps2.
I guess you should try better media because it 100% does work =)

I was using Imiation CD-Rs and yes I used Max media Creator. I have Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum and MMC recognises my CD-RW drive.
I press PS2 CD ROMs and burned a CD-R, but the PStwo did not recognise it.

    PS2 or PsTwo?
It would seem that it doesnt work on the slim one.
...well at least the pendrive is working right?

Yeah the USB Flash drive (aka Pendrive) works.

I dont wanna MOD my PStwo as it will eventually f**k it up.

Guess I have to wait until Datel make a updated version of AR MAX Evo which works fully on the PStwo

I downloaded the newest version like about 2 weeks ago, that has that option in it, but that doesnt help at all. I still have the same problem myself, so many wasted cds, its not the money that bothers me, just a faulty product that doesnt do what it should

i dont understand everyone complaning about ps2 slims screwing up after being modded... there's a fix of some sort for it, i bought my ps2 (in New Zealand here even) off a guy who has modded consoles for 8 years now, and he says there's a fix for them. i bought my ps2 slim modded off him with 1 year warranty, thats how confident he is about them... (he does mention some sort of fix for the laser) so yeah.
