Just purchased dvd burner, got nero and and also dvd decoder. I haven't found a dvd yet that has under 4.7GB? Do they exist? How can I now Copy a DVD??? I presume that every single time I want to backup a dvd I need to split it into two? Anyone know the best way to do this?

Alot of the older movies that don't have 5.1 sound, picture quality and extras are on single layer discs. You can Strip all these out and generally get a 90 min. movie on 1 disc. I prefer to keep most and use 2 discs.

Whats your best method of splitting...I presume that there is a file that needs to be on both disks and then individual chapters??
