What ASPI drivers should I install before copying DVDs? I've tried the ones from Adaptec and ForceASPI. (I've been having problems writing re-encoded image files).

I've been trying to use all sorts (CloneDVD, DVD Shrink, AnyDVD, DVDDecrypter etc...). I'm running Windows XP on a P4 2.8Ghz, 512RAM, 80Gb HD machine.

ASPI shouldn't make a difference. The problem most likely is with the program or process.

I was having problems with smart ripper for a while. I originally was using force aspi17.but, when my comp crashed and i reloaded it, it wouldnt work. so, I got a hold of adaptec 471a2 and loaded it in to my xp system. works great now. I do also have pattin-coffin(?) and force installed as well.
