I just got an Asus commando and was familiarizing myself with the bios and noticed that there is no HTT option. According the manual it should be there under advaced cpu configuration. Both crystalCPUID and 3dMark06 say N/A for HTT. Does an E6600 have HTT and if so, why isn't being recognized and why isn't the option in my bios?

    Thanks.

HTT can either stand for HyperThreading or HyperTransport. The E6600 doesn't support either, so you won't see an option for it in your board. Pentium Models often do support HyperThreading, so that's when you'd see it. Since your Core 2 Duo doesn't (and it doesn't need to, so don't worry) it won't show up.

Thanks. What bothered me was that I thought the option should still be there execpt inaccesible and set to off.

    Thanks.

Perhaps, Perhaps not. Depends on the motherboard I suppose.
