I'm trying to create a backup copy (really) of my Animatrix and Die Another Day DVDs. The problem with the Animatrix is that the Video sequence is different to actually watching the DVD i.e. the end credits come up first and also some chapters show up twice making the movie run over 2 hours. The sound is completely out of sync with the video and I picked track 1 using DVD2AVI. The problem with Die Another Day is that "behind the scenes" shots and interviews and the director show up on the VOBs and the audio is completely different to the video ... again I picked track 1. Programs I'm using:-
    Smartripper 2.41, DVD2AVI 1.77.3, tmpgenc 2.5. Ideas anyone?

I have ripped them both and many, many more simply using...
DVD Decrypter - rip to HD (Movie Only)
    DVD2One - Compress
    ImgTools - Create an Image
DVD Decrypter a/o RecordNow Max - Burn Image

    Good Luck...
