audio multisession

    using nero 5.5 can you create a multisession cd using a cd-r?
    if so can you give brief instructions.
    when i go to add more music at a different session the program asks for a blank cd.

    I could be wrong but I believe you can only do a
    multisession with a CD-RW

    thanks i will try that.
    after doing more research most articles on it say cd players will only play the first session. if you can make multisessions with data i dont see why you cant do it with audio.
    would appreciate any other comments.

    I'm just learning this stuff myself. So forgive me if I
    seem a little hesitant. I think with an audio CD you must
    "Finalize" the recording in order for it to work on stereo's (car, home,etc..). With a Data CD you don't actually "Finalize" it. Hence, you can just keep adding more to it until it's full.
