audio out of sync on several video downloads

    I have downloaded several videos using torrents,but probably about 75percent of them have the audio out of sync and it's about 20 to 30 seconds out of sync.any help would greatly appreciated.thanks

    Not sure this the correct forum but if your audio is out a set amount from start to finish (constant), AviMux_Gui should fix things: http://www.alexander-noe.com/video/amg/ Drag and Drop your file into the top window, highlight it and select "generate data". Now, in the lower window, highlight audio and if anything other than 0 appears to the right, select "start", naming and placing as you wish and in a minute or two you'll have a new file to use. For a sync that increases as the file plays (gradual), try this: http://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=307563&highlight=elister I have never used it but it looks promising. Edit: just an afterthought. Origonal files may play fine on your pc but show a delay after conversion; I run all files through AviMux_Gui before converting.
