    hi

could be settings you need to turn on 2CH sound as it may only be a film that uses it and not 5CH?

    Thx..

The chances of the DivX being encoded in 5.1 are very extreme. Try running a phono cable instead to the hifi, that works with me. The hifi should be able to decode the phono and encode to a 5.1 equivalent.

what do you mean by phono cable ???

i can have sound but not via optical cable , i find it strange , is it normal ??

should i maybe use a special audio format ??

or is just no way to hear the sound via my optical cable ??

Phone - is audio left/right (Red/white). Its not that i know that the Fibre optics wont work, its really just another alternative to ascertain where the decoding is going wrong.
