Simple question here in dvd shrink when selecting the audio track which do i pick usually i dont bother with it. Will my TV play the sound if i only leave AC3 5.1 or do i need the two channel as well?

Your TV will be able to play AC3 5.1 if that is the only track you put on the DVD. I am not sure about what the sound difference will be if you put a 2channel track on the DVD aswell but I doubt it whould be very substancial. The one audio track that your TV will most likely not be able to use is DTS 5.1. You may want to put both AC3 5.1 and 2 channel on to one disk and play it on the TV and switch between the 2 audio tracks to try and decide wether or not you want to put both on in the future or not. I am thinking that with 5.1 you may not hear all of the sounds as your TV will not pick them all up, but I am not sure.
