I Used ConvertXtoDVD to convert a divx file into dvd format. When it finished, the video was fine but the audio was about 6 seconds faster than the video. The file that i used was downloaded from a website. How do i fix the problem? How do u sync up audio with vob files?

Surprised that Convertx is having problems!
Is the file synced before conversion?

If so you can demux the audio and video and re author them.
    This requires two steps.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------
    1
Run TMPGenc and use the Wizard to select your output (example NTSC DVD)
    http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/tmpgenc.cfm

Browse to the AVI file and select it as input.
Choose the output destination:two files will be written to the output, a video and a separate audio file.
You will have am m2v and a wav file.

    --------------------------------------------------------------
    2

Run DVD Author, create a new project and use the previous files as input.
Proceed to the simulation step and verify that the sync is ok.
    Output to file or burn.

    Hi,

I still had some issues with ConvertXtoDVD with MP3 VBR.

And yep, AviMux-GUI v1.17 fixed it real nice for me !

Run it through AviMux first then try again.
